House #2 is Sold!
The Nebraska Department of Economic Development awarded SWNCBC a Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund grant to build two new homes in the City of Grant. Both homes have been completed and sold! These homes were 1440 sq. ft. (plus 1440 sq. ft. in basement) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a full unfinished basement including two egress windows, as well as a detached garage. SWNCBC wants to thank the organizations and businesses involved with this NDED Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Funds project; the City of Grant/Community Redevelopment Authority, Perkins County Community Foundation, Perkins County Chamber, Noyes Quality Homes, Perkins County School Construction Class, Star House Moving, Adams Lumber and several local contractors for making this a successful project.
SWNCBC Currently has DPA/Closing Cost Assistance Funds Available. The incorporated communities in Keith, Perkins, Chase, Dundy, Hitchcock and Hayes Counties and the City of McCook are included in this program.
Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corp. has been awarded an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Grant through the Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund program. A 30-day application period will begin on March 1, 2024 and run through April 1, 2024. Applications dated prior to March 1 or postmarked after April 1, 2024 will not be eligible for the program.
